About Ethan... |
|
Ethan is a happy and loving little boy. He loves anything that involves water. Whether it’s the beach, Sea World, or the backyard hose, you’ll always find Ethan splashing around. We know that Ethan will make a great big brother and we dream of the day we can see him share the excitement of Christmas morning with a sibling. |

We have kept in contact with Ethan’s birth family through pictures, emails and phone calls. In the Fall of 2006, Grandma Ellen, Ethan’s birth grandmother, came to San Diego for a visit. In the Spring of 2008, we traveled the 2000 miles back to Ethan’s birthplace. Ethan’s birth aunt was getting married and had asked if Ethan would be the ring barer. It was wonderful to see the members of Ethan’s birth family that we had met before and get to meet members that we hadn’t previously had the opportunity to meet. In the summer of 2009, Grandma Ellen, along with Aunt Vickie, made the trip to San Diego to be here for Ethan’s 4th birthday. We look forward to the next time we are able to visit with Ethan’s birth family. |

We really wanted Ethan to know other kids who were adopted too, so once a month we meet with our Playgroup of Adopted Friends. We go to lots of fun places together like the Strawberry Fields, My Kids Clubhouse, Petting Zoo and the Balboa Park Mini Train, just to name a few. All of the kids in our playgroup were adopted through the IAC and we have all become great friends. Several of us moms like to scrapbook together too! Some of our playgroup families are now growing through a second adoption. |
